Father Pau Agulles
Father Pau studied in the International Baccalaureate Program at the Viaro School in Barcelona. He holds a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Barcelona, Spain. He completed his studies in philosophy and theology at the Institution Studium Generale of Opus Dei in Spain and at the College of the Holy Cross in Rome. In 2004 he obtained the degree of Licentiate in Theology at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome where he presented his thesis entitled: "The Moral and Theological Foundation of Conscientious Objection in Pharmacy.” He received a Doctorate in Moral Theology at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross. In July 2006 he was appointed as Professor in the Department of Moral Theology at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross. From 2007-2008 has was a visiting Scholar of Philosophy at the University of Navarra, Spain. In February, 2012 he was appointed Associate Professor of Bioethics at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross. Father Pau is currently taking a semester with us as a Research Scholar at the National Catholic Bioethics Center in Philadelphia.
He speaks Spanish, Catalan, English and Italian.
