Dr. Haas traveled to Los Angeles in December to meet with some of the members of The NCBC Board of Directors before the next formal Board Meeting in February. He took some time to visit one Board member in particular: Archbishop of Los Angeles, the Most Reverend Jose Gomez, and he attended His Mass.

While in California, Dr. Haas was able to meet with the Archbishop of San Francisco, the Most Reverend Salvatore Cordileone. Our President also met the administration of a Catholic prep-school, with whom The NCBC hopes to develop a curriculum for a high school bioethics curriculum.
Dr. Haas said that the meetings were "very fruitful," and asserted that these meetings are of utmost importance as Catholics across the nation strive to remain united while facing the onerous HHS mandate and undertaking various initiatives that will build up the Culture of Life.
