UPDATE -- Radio Interview with Dr. Haas Now Available for Streaming

The NCBC's President, Dr. John Haas, was live on the radio last night.

Did you miss it?

Never fear! The archived interview is now available from Relevant Radio!

Dr. Haas and Sheila Liaugminas covered several topics relating to bioethics, particularly euthanasia and abortion, during her show: A Closer Look. Dr. Haas also took some time to give excellent descriptions of the meaning and definition of bioethics, its place in our modern society, and what the NCBC and the Catholic Church do to protect the dignity of all people in our nation and world.

One especially interesting element of the interview is Dr. Haas's reminder that The Catholic Church is, in fact, not 'behind the times' when it comes to matters of science and modern medical research. Rather, institutions like the Church and The National Catholic Bioethics Center grapple continuously with cutting edge discoveries and technology and what the ramifications of these discoveries may be, especially in light of the eternal soul and inviolable dignity of each individual.

As Dr. Haas himself put it: "The NCBC is always where the action is!"

You can listen to the interview HERE. The segment with Dr. Haas comprises the first 30 minutes of the show.
