Dr. John Haas discusses a range of topics connected to marital chastity with seminarians in Boston, including fertility awareness-based methods of spacing pregnancies, contraception, and the history surrounding important Church documents addressing the immorality of contraception, including the Study Commission in 1966 that was tasked with reviewing the issue and reporting to the Pope.
Dr. Haas, who taught at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Worthington, Ohio and at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, has been teaching bioethics at St. John's Seminary in Boston for more than 10 years.
