Today the NCBC held its Case Study Day for the students in the National Catholic Certification Program in Health Care Ethics ("The Certification Program"). It was a full-day event, starting at 9:30 a.m and ending at 4 p.m. in the afternoon.

The activities of the day began a Question and Answer session in the morning, where the students offered difficult ethical questions that they had encountered in the workplace or during the course of the Certification Program. The students also shared valuable insights from their workplaces and life experiences as various ethical situations were discussed.
Students then participated in a Mock Ethics Committee meeting, dialoging about several medical ethics cases.

The day concluded with an Oral Examination where the students were quizzed for 9 minutes and asked to explain the Principle of Double Effect.
