NCBC at CHA Ethics Colloquium in St. Louis

NCBC Staff Ethicist Joe Zalot attended the Catholic Health Association’s (CHA) Ethics Colloquium in St. Louis from March 13-15. The colloquium brought together ethics leaders from across the country to discuss issues directly affecting Catholic health care.

Presentations included: “Ethical Issues in Emerging Genetic Technologies,” “Striving for Excellence in Ethics Committees,” and “The Customer Revolution in Health Care: How to Make Health Care Kinder, Smarter, and More Affordable.” Dr. Zalot networked with leaders from CHA and Catholic health systems, as well as with graduate students in health care ethics, seeking to foster future collaborative efforts.
